Vodafone Germany wants to introduce a number of Cardano-based non-fungible tokens as part of the NFT movement.
A spokesperson for Vodafone Germany recently announced on the company’s Discord channel that they plan to release an NFT collection on the Cardano blockchain this year.
The Cardano blockchain’s ability to connect with other blockchains made it the perfect choice for Vodafone Germany’s NFT project, which will allow users to interact with their tokens across different platforms.
Although Vodafone Germany is striving to make its NFT initiative accessible to consumers worldwide, it is presently only offered to clients in Germany. Anyone can join in the project because there won’t be a whitelist.
If you come across an airdrop link that seems to be from Vodafone Germany, it’s definitely a fraud. The company has not yet launched its NFT project, so any airdrops that you see are not legitimate.
Vodafone operates in more than 20 countries and is a significant telecom company on a worldwide basis. The business generated $52.2 billion in sales in 2020, ranking ninth among all telecom companies globally.
