Microsoft Takes Step Into Web3 Market With Aptos Labs Partnership

Microsoft has partnered with Aptos Labs to enter the Web3 market. Aptos Labs is the developer of the layer 1 blockchain network Aptos (APT). Experts believe that this partnership will play a massive role in the Web3 ecosystem. Aptos Labs has stated that this partnership will focus on asset tokenization, payments, and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC).

After this announcement, Aptos’s prices rallied more than 17%.

Aptos Assistant, the new AI tool, would use Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service to operate. This tool will be helpful and reliable for users, guide users, and serve as a bridge between Web2 and Web3.

Aptos stated that it will provide blockchain data to Microsoft for training the AI model and will operate validator nodes to enhance security and reliability.

Aptos Labs CEO Mo Shaikh stated that the main focus is to solve the problems faced by both firms. He also mentioned that AI and blockchain together will have a great impact on society. This partnership will develop and innovate these technologies, which will be more accessible to people.

Global Director of Business Development for AI and Web3, Daniel An, said that AI and Blockchain will work together, and this will be common. Experts believe the combination brings more efficiency and security.
