Tech Entrepreneur and billionaire investor Elon Musk stated that X will never launch any kind of crypto token.
He was replying to the post tweeted by one of his followers with the user name @cb_doge about the article that X launched its token named X.
He warned that Elon Musk and X have never launched any kind of token. Don’t get scammed by such articles. Later, Elon Musk replied in the post “And we never will”. This indicates that the firm has no intention of launching its crypto token.
One of the users from X also stated that the X-tokens will be used to compensate content creators on the platform in the future.
Many investors invested in this fake X token after hearing claims that it had given a huge number of returns to investors.
There is a rise in this kind of scam, and innocent investors get easily lured by this kind of scammer in the hope of making quick money.
Last year, Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion and has now rebranded it as X.
Since that time, there have been rumors that Elon Musk will launch tokens for in-app payments. There have also been rumors that Elon will enable DOGE payments soon. These rumors got more intense after Elon changed the Twitter logo to DOGE for a while. The price of the DOGE jumped almost 30%.
Due to this action, Elon Musk was accused of filing an insider trading lawsuit.
